Thank you all who attended the Northern Colorado New Horizons Band Spring Ensembles Concert this past Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Collins!  Our different groups enjoyed playing a diverse repertoire for you!  These Ensembles concerts are held twice a musical season…in the Fall and in the Spring.  Enjoy some photos below.

Next up is the NHB “Swing Into Spring” Jazz Concert which will be held this Friday, March 15th, 7 p.m. at the King of Glory Lutheran Church, Hunters Run, 2919 Wilson Avenue, Loveland.  Two groups will be performing that evening.

First up is the 10-member Greyrock Jazz Band who play traditional New Orleans style music including other popular jazz tunes arranged in a traditional jazz style.  Second will be the New Horizons Band 17-piece Swing Band playing several popular songs from a bygone era.  You’ll hear Glenn Miller, Henry Mancini, Sammy Nestico arrangements and others.

We meet from September through early May with rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings at Good Shepherd Church, 3429 N. Monroe Avenue, Loveland, CO  80538.  EmailNorthernColorado.NHB@gmail.com for details to join the band.
